Hi, I’m Eric Weiss; many of you have known me as the general manager at Miccosukee for many years! I am here today to talk to you about my medical condition that has changed my life forever… I have been suffering from a genetic condition that causes tumors to grow along my nerves, which is called NF2 disease. It’s been a long journey of travel, surgeries and recoveries. Unfortunately, I am nowhere near cured, but with constant surgeries, I can fight another day. With the grace of God and my family, I have created this organization to advocate for others like me.

If you don’t know who I am, I am a local from Homestead, Florida. I am a husband and father, and now, I am a proud grandfather. You can always find me at the golf course, even on my days off. It’s my true passion! Anyone who knows me will say I have a big heart. I have a mission to continue to spread awareness and help others just like me, living in chronic everyday pain. I have been living with NF2 for ten years. What keeps me pushing through are all these surgeries. I could not be here without all of the donations and support from everyone!! I am living proof of how donations can help. It's a chance at a better life!
